CNC Operator

  • Location – Pendle Doors, Lower Darwen
  • Job Type – Full-time, permanent, based on site
  • Salary – £12.21 – £13.00 per hour depending on experience
  • Working hours – Monday to Thursday between 8am and 5pm, Friday 6am to 4pm (total 39.25 hours per week)

 

Pendle Doors is growing quickly. In the past year, we’ve opened a new manufacturing site in Lower Darwen, doubled the size of our Sales team, and expanded our production department. As we continue to grow, we’re now on the lookout for an additional CNC Operator.

The Role

We require a CNC Wood Machinist. The role will involve machining doors and door frames on a Homag 3 axis CNC’s.

The Ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following :

  • Previous experience working within a wood machining environment.
  • Previous CNC machining experience.
  • Programming advantageous but not essential.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
  • Tool setting experience.
  • Good organisational skills to plan in advance and reduce machine down time.
  • Experience in materials handling and working with logic controllers
  • Familiarity with hand tools and basic warehouse operations
